“Interesting Times”

The spring of 2020 taught me about fragility. About how the limits of human capacity are universal - that something fundamental snaps in all of us at certain pressures. Like the predictable nature of crystals arranging at exact temperatures, the human animal buckles predictably under stress. We collapse into ourselves as the pressure mounts, until we crystalize in our patterns of suffering.
